Benjamin Akhavan x FOAWM “Proto Elemental Pavilion” at Mt Royal and Dolphin (on median) Inspired by Baltimore, the Proto-Element Pavilion embraces color, texture, and form to welcome all kinds of guests. With a form that oscillates between fuzziness and playfulness, the pavilion invites visitors to engage by sitting, touching, and entering. Cut-outs allow for children and non-human companions to hop in and out.
Andrew Simpson “Game of Frogs” at Charles St and Trenton Game of Frogs is an ongoing interactive installation consisting of concrete frogs secreted in public places. The work engages people with their city as they find and share frog locations. New mini frogs are being created and hidden every month in locations around Baltimore, DC and places in between.
