The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA), is thrilled to announce its family-focused components of 2024: Kidscape and Teenscape. Taking place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, both programs promise to ignite the spirit of fun, imagination, and interaction for youth within the heart of the three-day Artscape festival.

Taking place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, both programs promise to ignite the spirit of fun, imagination, and interaction for youth within the heart of the three-day Artscape festival.

Kidscape

• Date: Saturday, August 3rd
• Time: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Location: Gordon Plaza, at the intersection of Mt. Royal Avenue and Maryland Avenue

Children ages 4 through 12 are invited to enjoy a variety of hands-on activities and workshops, including artmaking and interactive programming. Highlights include:

• T-shirt making for shelter animals with MDSPCA
• Origami artmaking with the Baltimore Museum of Art
• Books from the MD Book Bank’s book van

Additionally, don’t miss the inaugural Youth Artist Market, where eight young artists will sell their crafts and artwork in partnership with Jubilee Arts.

• Location: Blackbox Theatre at Motor House on North Avenue

Young adults aged 13 to 18 can enjoy:

• A teen talent show curated by the Media Rhythm Institute (MRI)
• Dance performances by BMore Than Dance
• A fashion show by AZIZA PE&CE
