TLC at Artscape

Ride the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) to Artscape! Public transportation is the best way to get to the festival. The State Center/Cultural Center Metro Subway Station is just steps away from the festival and is open until midnight, seven days a week.

The Light Rail stop at University of Baltimore/Mt. Royal Avenue is in the center of Artscape activities, and the Cultural Center stop on Howard Street is adjacent to the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Light Rail begins service at 6am on Friday, 7am on Saturday, 11am on Sunday. Some stops may have earlier service, so check the timetable for actual times for your boarding location. Light Rail operates until 11pm Monday-Saturday and the last trains will leave Artscape one hour after the festival ends on Sunday, July 23. Our friends from D.C. can ride MDOT MTA to Artscape by taking MARC Train weekend service to Penn Station. Check the MDOT MTA website for complete schedule listings.

For your convenience, please use your CharmCard®, Monthly Pass or Weekly Pass or purchase a MDOT MTA Day Pass or round-trip tickets at the start of your trip to Artscape.
