12PM Nia June Baltimore native Nia June performs original spoken word poetry

1PM Baltimore Black Dance Collective The Baltimore Black Dance Collective presents “Dancing Legacy,” an hour long multidisciplinary dance performance. Dance styles and performances within the show will be original works premiering for the first time, ranging from West African and Modern to contemporary and experimental.

3PM New Wave Singers of Baltimore New Wave Singers of Baltimore’s performance focuses on the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. We will perform music that was on the jukebox of the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in Greenwich Village, the day of the uprising, June 28, 1969.

4PM Agora Dance Agora Dance presents, Snowstorm in July: A Dance Journey through the Seasons inspired by poems and quotes by Ogden Nash, a writer who called Baltimore home from the 1930’s - 1970’s.

6PM Afro House Presents the Astronaut Symphony Through Beat Box and Opera, Ballet and Punk Music, and Funk, the Astronaut Symphony creates symphonic performance art pieces. Led by pianist and composer Scott Patterson, this ensemble morphs in and out of mediums and genres,creating 25th Century music in the here and now. Astronaut Symphony will stretch, dismantle and reframe audience’s state of mind with raw energy and futuristic vibration.
